Empower Farmers South Sudan (EFSS) is the conservation agriculture program of EmpowerKids-South Sudan, established to respond to persistent food insecurity, land degradation, and rural poverty through a disciplined, values-driven production system based on the Foundations for Farming (FfF) model

Our Mission
To empower smallholder farmers to grow more food with less effort through the Foundations for Farming model, improving food security, household incomes, and climate resilience across South Sudan
Our Vision
Resilient farming communities where households produce sufficient food year-round, land is restored, and agriculture provides dignified livelihoods .
Our Philosophy
Empower Farmers South Sudan (EFSS) believes that lasting agricultural change begins with people, not inputs. We invest in trained youth who lead with integrity and in smallholder farmers who work with commitment and discipline.
Our philosophy is built on three core convictions:
Youth lead transformation: Young people trained as Interns, Fellows, and Champions carry skills, standards, and accountability into their communities.
Farmers are stewards: Every farmer is a manager of land, time, and resources, responsible for applying good practices faithfully.
Discipline creates prosperity: When small actions are done correctly and consistently, land is restored, yields improve, and households achieve food security.
